This was a halloween themed jam, but thanks to Nick's epic raps it quickly turned into a hip hop session! Everyone played masterfully and many amazing new tunes were forged at this jam!
This month's session was very different from those in the past: a picnic/jam in the park! We got to see some old friends, and some new faces too! Good food, good drinks, good company, and of course, good music! (The weather was also excellent!) All in all our park session was a big success. I'm sure we'll do another one in the near future!
The theme for this session was "strange musical toys," and people certainly brought in some weird gear! Crazy loops, noisy feedback, silly sound effects and more! During this session many curious new songs were created, the likes of which the world had never heard before and will never hear again. The after party at Fukuoka Craft was also extremely fun--Dave gave us a tour of the brewery and introduced us to his new bubbly creations!
Great session, made even better thanks to Athena's amazing vocals! Lots of silly instrument switching and fine soloing! A dose of spicy death chicken rounded out a very firey evening!
We've got a session scheduled for the end of June! There will be a few new members attending... looking forward to it!

The February session was silly and raucous, a fine way to start off the new year! Some amazing tunes were made with swashbuckling swamp riffs, wild funky beats, relentless instrument switching, and a no-holds-barred free-verse rap duel off? The next session will probably be in April. Hope to see you there!
